From the age of 20 Rebecca has worked within the Adult Social Care Sector. Over the years she has worked in various settings including domiciliary care, day services for adults with learning disabilities and residential care in both the private and local authority sectors. Rebecca has always adopted a person-centred approach to all those in which she has supported.
Rebecca’s training career began when she was seconded to the role of Moving and Handling of People trainer with the Local Authority. Following this she secured a permanent post as a learning and development advisor within the Adult Social Care sector of the authority.
Rebecca has a wealth of knowledge and is dedicated to providing top class training and development to all within the organisation. She strives to ensure that all learning styles are considered to enable an inclusive learning environment. Rebecca is a qualified trainer and delivers a robust induction training programme to all staff.
Amongst her specialisms are Moving and Handling of People, Positive Behaviour Support, Mental Health First Aid, Basic Life Support training, and Dementia training. Out of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys reading, swimming, travelling and being outdoors in her garden.
