Mark McDonald

Mark has worked across a number of different companies in senior roles leading teams through mentoring and teaching to provide high quality care. He has a proven track record of achievement including being the first registered manager to achieve an Outstanding CQC rating whilst working for another care provider in Suffolk.

This was followed by the achievement of a second Outstanding rating following the operational recommissioning and refurbishment of a home in Essex. Whilst leading on high-level projects, Mark has also been responsible for the commissioning of all new developments alongside the operational management of a group of homes spread throughout the South East region.

During this period Mark led the commissioning of a home in Tunbridge Wells to achieve the Knight Frank Luxurious Care Home and Pinders Care Design award for ‘Best New Care Home’ in 2018. Mark works alongside the Halcyon Senior Management Team and General Managers to provide the highest standards of care for all residents.
