Louise has worked in the Health and Social care industry for almost 20 years starting as a care assistant at the age of 22.
Louise soon realised that care was an area she excelled in and was incredibly passionate about. Louise completed her NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and has progressed within her career through passion, determination and making the most of the opportunities presented to her.

Louise is the Learning and Development Manager for Halcyon Care Homes and has developed an inclusive Induction programme for all new and existing team. Louise has helped commission new homes in the past and worked with her team and colleagues within an Outstanding Care Home.
Louise is responsible for the additional learning and supports all team within Halcyon Care Homes to provide person centred care to all Residents. Louise updates the Homes Training Matrix and ensures that the training all Team receive is line with the Care Certificate and the CQC key lines of enquiry. Louise is an IOSH Qualified Moving and Handling trainer, a dementia friend champion and enjoys learning new things to pass on to the Team to enrich the lives of everyone. Louise is passionate and extremely proud to work within Halcyon Care Homes.
