To celebrate St Patricks, Marham House Care Home planned a full day dedicated to celebrating the Irish. The resident lounge was turned into an Irish wonderland with decorations, costumes, mini-Guinness, music, and food tasters, to transport our residents to the wonderful country of Ireland.
Residents enjoyed a fabulous day full of dancing, singing, drinking all the Guinness, and eating Guinness cupcakes made by our lovely chef Becky.
Marham House was unrecognisable as the team and residents celebrated the day in true Irish tradition, the home was transformed into a green wonderland with Irish Leprechaun’s, shamrocks, and pints.
Jackie Mogg Lifestyle lead commented “A lovely day enjoyed by us all. Particularly special for residents of Irish decent. Our themed days are so popular with residents and an opportunity to socialise with other communities in the home.”
One resident commented “This has been absolutely lovely, thank you so much.”
