When moving into a care home some may worry about the dynamics of living with others. Not everyone is s a social butterfly, not everyone is comfortable in the company of large groups.

We have a lovely team here; they balance each other well. The lifestyle team are experts at creating fun activities and group events, whilst our lovely care manager Lucy and her team visit our residents individually, spending one-to-one time with them.

It is great to have a balance in life, to be able to have access to entertainment, creative outlets, and lively quizzes. It is nice to gather in smaller groups to participate in favourite hobbies such as baking, knitting, and gardening, and to be able to indulge in one-to-one time; enjoying stimulating conversations, looking through old photographs, having a natter or enjoying a good old-fashioned game of dominoes or Pontoon.
