You may recall that we had to scale down our Christmas Opening event due to an increase in Covid cases back in December. We were delighted that Santa was able to attend but we had to postpone the market, even the mayor had to cancel.
This weekend we organised a second attempt at holding our market event and whilst it was touch and go for a while due to another spike in Covid cases we were thankfully able to go ahead.
The weather was beautiful, and we were joined by some wonderful members of our local community. We had market stalls selling a wide variety of items, we had singers and musicians along to entertain us and there were classic cars for us to look over. It was such a wonderful day. We would like to make this an annual event and hope that it is something that the wider community will become involved with. Thank you to everyone who came along.
