After a year of more gloom than most of us expected to see, residents and staff here at Hazel End would like to share their love at Christmas time with the community.
Hazel End Care Home are inviting the local community to help us Wrap Our Home with Love. Our team here are decorating the fence surrounding our home with Christmas decorations, baubles and joyful sentiments.
Allison Squires, Home Manager, said “We strive to make our residents feel loved and at home, making sure that every day is filled with good, high quality care. As part of our meaningful lifestyle, our operation Wrap The Home with Love is a perfect opportunity to bring everyone together at this uncertain time”.
Residents will be hanging their own personalised decorations and messages on the fence. Families, friends, neighbours and local schools are asked to come and join in by hanging their own decorations and messages.
Alicia Bradon, Marketing Manager said “We are hoping to have a bauble hung on every part of the fence around the entire home. Our residents deserve to look out of their window and feel the love from those around them. After the year we have all had some Christmas magic is exactly what we need”.
White Tree’s Independent School in the local area have worked hard to decorate their own baubles as part of their “Pay it forward” campaign to give back to the elderly over the Christmas period. White Tree’s school will be working closely with Hazel End sending over Christmas cards, decorations, and Christmas songs.
