Spring is finally here, the weather has warmed up, the days are getting longer and there is an anticipation of summer in the air.

We are lucky to be situated in an area that is surrounded by glorious outdoor spaces, parks, and fields and of course, our own beautiful oasis.

This week we have been outside preparing our garden ready for the summer parties and family get togethers. This is a very special year, and we have many celebrations planned.

The weather has been wonderful recently, and we have taken full advantage, we got to work, weeding and planting and watering. It was hard work, but so worth it, the garden is already taking shape.

The team here at Westhill Park provided us with refreshments, teas and coffee and delicious homemade cake, there should always be cake and we beavered away, digging, and tending to the soil. It felt good to be outside in the sunshine, surrounded by friends.

As the day drew to a close, we tidied our tools and went inside to the bar for a well-earned drink, we looked out over the garden and as the sun was setting, we admired our handy work and congratulated ourselves on a job well done. It is looking wonderful, and we did that.
