There is no denying it now, the festive season will soon be upon us and the excitement here at Canterbury House is starting to build. Our first Christmas was wonderful, reindeer visits, carols, gifts, songs, and we even received a visit from the big man himself. It was magical.

This year we are looking forward to an equally spectacular December, and the planning has begun in earnest. This week we have spent a few blissful hours creating our own decorations, cutting, and gluing, colouring, and painting, we have achieved so much.

Canterbury House is a big home with 3 floors, it’s going to take a lot of decorations to achieve the perfect Christmas atmosphere, we will certainly need to spend a few more hours in crafty corner however that is a prospect that makes us very happy. Who wouldn’t want to while away their time getting crafty, singing along to Christmas tunes, tucking into mince pies and hot chocolate, surrounded by good friends, laughing, and sharing stories of Christmas Days gone by?
