Birthdays are special, not just the ones that end in a zero, every birthday is a reason to celebrate, to look back fondly and to look forward at the years to come. We don’t let any birthday go by without celebration.

We don’t buy multipacks of birthday cards and socks; we take great pleasure in selecting the right card and gift and like to think outside the box and find something really special.

Terry celebrated his birthday last month and in true Timken Grange style, we pulled out of the stops and made his day as magical as possible. We organised a cake, a card, a celebration tea and of course we organised a gift.

Terry is a huge fan of the Cobblers and so we surprised him with tickets to a home game and this week the big day arrived. Chloe and Terry set off for Northampton Town Football Club and spent a fabulous afternoon in the stands.

It’s not always easy to pick the perfect gift but for Terry it was an obvious choice. Buying tickets as a birthday gift does lead to a bit of delay in receiving the actual present, Terry’s been counting the days until the big game since September, but he tells us that it was well worth the wait, and as a bonus, he got to celebrate his birthday twice.
