The is no denying it now, the festive season has arrived and here at Marham House we intend to enjoy every second of it. We have so much planned, and our first event took place last week.
We hosted our annual Christmas market, we asked local traders along to set up in our marquee and invited our residents, their families, and members of the community to join us in a festive afternoon of shopping and al fresco dining courtesy of Suffolk Pig Roast who served up some amazing pork baps.
The afternoon was a complete success, the weather was very kind to us, the company was great and the whole event has got us in the mood for the month ahead.
Today we have begun the task of decorating Marham House, it is a big home and takes a lot of decorating, but we are getting there, slowly but surely.
This week we are looking forward to gingerbread lattes, dressing as elves for elf day and a settling in for a Morecambe and Wise marathon in our cinema room.
Like the song says, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we are ready to make the most of it.
