Who doesn't love the Beatles? We can all recall them bursting onto the music scene, taking the world by storm. Those fab four boys from Liverpool certainly made their mark. The Beatles provided the soundtrack to our young lives and hearing one of their songs takes us right back to the sixties with all its magic. It was a decade of great change, good times and mould breaking music, in part thanks to John, Paul, George and Ringo.
We had a wonderful afternoon, listening to Beatles songs, reminiscing about dancing, and dating, about our young families and get togethers, about miniskirts and scooters and flower power and moon landings. We didn't walk down memory lane, we ran down it, Yeah yeah yeah!
We discussed our favourite Beatle, was it cheeky John, or easy on the eye Paul? We even made a zebra crossing and posed for our own version of the Abbey Road album cover. That was hilarious.
We ended our afternoon with a drink and a dance, we picked our favourite Beatle songs and danced our little legs off.
What a wonderful way to while away an afternoon, we wore silly wigs, we relived the sixties, we laughed, and we sang. It was perfect and it was all made possible with a little help from our friends
