There is always something going on here at Canterbury House. We enjoy regular visitors, singers, furry and not so furry animals, local crafts people, we’ve even had a magician and we enjoy seeing all of them.

When not being entertained by visitors, our residents enjoy a diverse schedule of activities, arranged for them by Izzie, the lifestyle manager.

This week we have been very busy, crafting, singing, and generally having fun. Today we made a visit to a local hotel for a coffee and a catch up, their bar area is a lovely place to while away a couple of hours and their coffee is very nice too. This afternoon we attempted to make chocolate covered strawberries, this turned out to be a lot messier than we anticipated but it was worth it, they were delicious.

All in all, it’s been a very good day.
